MIC Nepal, together with Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) and Fair Trade Group (FTG), successfully conducted the inception meeting and officially launched the SUSTAIN Project at Aathbiskot Municipality, Rukum (West), Karnali. The project is financially and technically supported by BMZ and Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
The SUSTAIN Project focuses on promoting climate-resilient and locally diversified food systems, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women, youth, and multiple marginalized communities, and strengthening the capacity of civil society and local governments. This initiative is expected to contribute to improved food security, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive development in the target communities.
