About Us

Nepal Magar Society Service and Information Center (MIC Nepal) was established in 2060 B.S. (2003 A.D.) and is registered with the Rukum District Administration Office and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. The organization is headquartered in Sisne Rural Municipality–5, Rukumkot, Rukum (East), and works in Lumbini and Karnali Provinces. MIC Nepal works to promote an equitable, empowered, and self-reliant society by improving the socio-economic and educational status of women, children, Dalit, Janajati, and multiple marginalized communities. Its main focus areas include education, health and sanitation, sustainable livelihood, climate change, disaster management, and environmental conservation. Since 2003, MIC Nepal has over 20 years of experience in community development, implementing projects related to education, livelihood promotion, health, environmental management, and community empowerment in partnership with national and international organizations.
