Our Guiding Mission, Vision, and Goals

About Us

Nepal Magar Society Service and Information Centre (MIC Nepal) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political social development organisation established in 2003 (B.S. 2060). The organisation is registered with the District Administration Office, Rukum, Lumbini Province, and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Its central office is located in Sisne Rural Municipality–5, Rukumkot, Rukum (East). MIC Nepal has expanded its operational areas across Lumbini and Karnali Provinces and is currently implementing Six projects that contribute to community transformation and sustainable development. MIC Nepal works to build an equitable, empowered, and self-reliant society by promoting the socio-economic and institutional empowerment of women, children, Dalits, Indigenous Peoples, and other marginalised communities and groups in remote areas. Its major areas of intervention include education, health and sanitation, sustainable livelihoods, climate change, disaster management, and environmental protection.
